10 Horror Movie Details You Definitely Missed The First Time

2. The "Librarian" Watching Ben - It (2017)

The first chapter of Andy Muschietti's It duology is filled to the gills with horrific imagery both blatant and subtle, though there's one in particular that's sure to creep people out on a repeat watch.

When Ben (Jeremy Ray Taylor) is reading up on Derry's history at the library, keep an eye on the librarian behind him, who eerily turns to stare at him as he reads.

Plus, with each cut back from the book to Ben reading, the librarian has unnervingly inched closer to him, suggesting that the librarian is actually Pennywise the Dancing Clown (Bill SkarsgÄrd) keeping tabs on Ben.

To make it even more cheeky, the librarian turns and stares at Ben just after he's read a page about Derry's historic Easter egg hunt. Easter egg, get it?

This isn't the only time during the movie where Pennywise can be seen surreptitiously spying on the Losers' Club, but it is certainly the creepiest, and the one most likely to catch viewers by surprise when they revisit the film.
