6. Pinhead Killed Frank Cotton - Hellraiser

There are many different motivations for characters on this list, with some exclusively out for revenge, and others seemingly happy to kill anybody just for the sake of killing them. Hellraiser's Cenobites certainly conform to the latter, on board to bring anybody down to the afterlife for their own torturous pleasure.

The victims weren't necessarily chosen by the Cenobites, or even their leader, Pinhead (Doug Bradley). Instead, they simply targeted those who solved the puzzle of the Lament Configuration, until one day, one of their prizes managed to get away.

It didn't matter to the hellish creatures who Frank Cotton was - they would have hunted him down and dragged him back to Hell regardless. However, it just so happened that the man was a vile human even before opening the Lament Configuration, and had Julia (Clare Higgins) lure several men to their deaths so that he could escape his eternal torment.

Ultimately, this didn't work for Frank, who, thanks to his niece Kirsty (Ashley Laurence), was found and viciously killed by the Cenobites anyway. To show that they didn't care who their victims were, they went after the innocent Kirsty as well, though she managed to escape while Frank met a gruesome and not undeserved demise.
