10 Horror Remakes You Had No Idea Were In The Works

10. Suspiria

Luca Guadagnino is a ballsy filmmaker - you'd have to be to even consider attempting to replicate the work of Italian horror mastermind Dario Argento.

Guadagnino is helming a remake of his compatriot's most famous film, Suspiria, which makes him doubly audacious, but at least he's rounded up a stellar cast for it.

Dakota Johnson, Chloe Grace Moretz and Tilda Swinton head up the roster, and Radiohead's Thom Yorke will provide what is guaranteed to be a haunting score.

The original Suspiria was set against the backdrop of a ballet school which serves as a front for a coven of witches and their murderous deeds.

Not only was it scary as hell unleashed, Argento earned plaudits for his visual and stylistic flair, use of vibrant colours and the visceral soundtrack he selected.

Guadagnino's version finished shooting in March and is on the slate for 2017, a firm release date appears to be up in the air.
