Technically speaking Aquaman has out-grossed every single James Bond movie at the box office, but the comparison only really gets fun when you consider the last two movies, Skyfall and Spectre.

At the time of press Aquaman has just crawled past Skyfall's franchise high of $1.109 billion (or $1.1086 billion), to be presice), after thoroughly smoking the box office cume of the most recent Bond flick, Spectre ($880.7 million).

Given that Skyfall was the most profitable entry into a half-century old movie franchise - not to mention one of the best-reviewed - topping it is an especially insane achievement. China has never gone gaga for Bond, which once gain was Aquaman's saving grace.
