2. Anthony Hopkins The Silence Of The Lambs

Anthony Hopkins portrayal of cannibalistic serial killer Hannibal Lecter is one of the most well-known villains in all of cinematic history. Before this film Anthony Hopkins wasnt known for playing the bad guy and he was a British stage actor who had studied under Sir Laurence Olivier. Today Hannibal Lecter still remains arguably his most well-known role (which he repeated in two more films Hannibal and the prequel Red Dragon).

Hopkins performance is creepy good. Just look at the way he stares directly into the cameras lens. He hardly even blinks. Its like hes gazing directly into your soul, wondering what your kidney tastes like. Hopkins accepted his Best Actor Oscar the following year fava beans have never tasted the same since.
