10. Luke Hemsworth: The New Wolverine?

Hugh Jackman played Wolverine for almost 20 years and it would be hard to imagine anyone else ever donning the adamantium claws.

In 2000, Jackman first burst onto the scene as Wolverine in Bryan Singer's X-Men and the Aussie went on to play him in a total of nine films. After shooting his final Wolverine performance in Logan (2017), Jackman handed in his half smoked cigar, waxed off his chest hair and said enough was enough. Despite relentless pleas from Ryan Reynolds to carry on, Jackman has stayed resolute in his decision.

With Jackman officially stepping down from the role, the leading name to replace him is none other than fellow Australian and everyone's third favourite Hemsworth, Luke Hemsworth.

The Westworld star has said he would do everything he could to be the next Wolverine and join brother Chris in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Luke is a self confessed Wolverine super fan and, as a kid, learned to draw by copying drawings of Logan from his X-Men comics.

If the rumours are true, Luke will have the hard task of not only winning over X-Men fans, but Wolverine fanboy and not-so-secret admirer - Ryan Reynolds too.
