While Knight and Day's car chase does feature plenty of CGI, there are still several moments where Tom Cruise lives up to his daredevil reputation. Behind-the-scenes footage shows the sunglasses-wearing actor strapped to the hood of a speeding vehicle weaving in and out of traffic, which is where his character spends most of the scene.The most impressive stunt of the car chase comes when Cruise leaps onto the roof of a moving car from above. While the actor was secured with a harness and wearing protective padding, it hardly lowers the risks when you consider the amount of variables involved in throwing an A-list movie star in the direction of moving traffic.
