4. The Truth Behind Dryden Vos' "Decraniated" Servants - Solo: A Star Wars Story
Solo: A Star Wars Story may not be a great movie, but the amount of effort put into its general production is undeniable, and there's certainly plenty of added visual value for eagle-eyed fans to look out for.
At roughly the 43 minute mark, the villainous Dryden Vos (Paul Bettany) is seen briefly conversing with a servant, and unless you're really paying attention, you might not notice that said servant only has a half a head.
But that's not where things get truly weird: it's just a creepy-looking android, right? Well, not quite.
As it turns out, this android-butler first appeared in the Visual Guide for Rogue One, and has also been briefly featured in a number of Star Wars comics.
The Visual Guide confirms that the servants, better known as "The Decraniated," are wounded humans kidnapped and transformed into droids by a fugitive surgeon, their head presumably being cut in half and fitted with robotic "enhancements."
Creepier still, the fugitive surgeon being referred to is none other than Cornelius Evazan, who famously came across Luke (Mark Hamill) and Obi-Wan (Alec Guinness) in the Mos Eisley Cantina back in A New Hope, before re-appearing briefly in Rogue One.
Given that it feels more David Cronenberg than George Lucas, this honestly might be the low-key darkest thing in the entire Star Wars universe.
