Reservoir Dogs hinges on a gang pulling off a diamond heist, only for it to fall apart when the police seem to know their every move - none of them realised there was a rat among them. It turns out, of course, that Tim Roth€™'s Mr Orange character was really a detective all along.

It may seem utterly unpredictable to start with it, but there are a few clear signposts. Principle of these is the fact that €“ during the famous diner scene, where the core cast have breakfast €“ Roth€™'s character doesn'€™t hesitate to point it out when Mr. Pink (Steve Buscemi) hasn't left a tip. Very true-to-character behaviour there, for a rat. Later on in the film, there'€™s also an orange balloon that follows Nice Guy Eddie when he€™s on the run and the bottles of orange liquid in the warehouse are kept away from the others. Although subtle, these visual hint tells us what Mr. Orange is up to.
