10 Mind-Numbingly Stupid Lines Of Dialogue From Man of Steel

And here is the icing on the cake. The line that made me want to sink into my chair and pretend I was watching another movie. Forget about trying to replicate the Whedon charmwhen this line is uttered towards the final scene of the film, Goyer finally opts to be just plain stupid instead. This line sounds like something out of a comedy film. Its a really lame attempt to give this film the same jokey feel of The Avengers. Aside from the fact that any intelligent viewer wont find this funny, its a complete departure from the tone the entire movie has had so far. For the last two and a half hours Goyer attempts to be serious and brooding. Now, out of nowhere, he goes for tongue-in-cheek? Even though the film was terrible anyway, this random joke was not welcome. If this line of dialogue alone doesnt put you off the Superman universe for a long, long timeI dont know what will. Lets face it, if this film had a much lower budget it would look like Supermans answer to Batman and Robin. It certainly reads like it anyway!
