10 More Best Times Star Wars Appeared In Other Movies

10. The Imperial March Ringtone - Ted

Unquestionably one of the most recognisable pieces of music in movie history, John Williams' The Imperial March has become synonymous with all things evil.

This is precisely what makes the use of it during 2012's Seth MacFarlane-directed/starring comedy Ted so damn hilarious.

With John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg) searching for his phone in his car alongside his girlfriend, Lori Collins (Mila Kunis), this dude with a teddy bear best mate asks her to ring it for him.

You can see where this is going.

Right on cue, the song often found accompanying Darth Vader rings around the vehicle, provoking Lori to question if this was her ringtone on his phone and actually ask where it's from.

Without missing a beat, and sensing he could likely be in a bit of trouble if he explained the truth, John comically puts out this fire by telling her it's just a tune from The Notebook.

We must have missed the part where Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine went for a romantic boat ride to the sound of this thunderous banger.
