10 MORE Horror Movies That Go Totally Insane At The End

8. Him

Him might've been a terrible horror film that squandered strong visuals on a nothing-burger of a script, but it certainly arrived at an agreeably insane (albeit divisive) ending. Therefore, at the very least, this largely ill-judged affair gave viewers something to remember. 

This one revolves around Cam (Tyriq Withers), an aspiring American Football player who goes to train at an isolated compound with Isaiah White (Marlon Wayans), his Football hero. While training, Cam is put through many disturbing challenges and witnesses a multitude of strange events, making it clear that something untoward is going on. 

As it turns out, Isaiah is part of a ritual involving a manufactured line of G.O.A.T. players, all of whom have gained enhanced abilities from ingesting each other's blood. Cam ends up killing Isiah and, once he meets the team's owners, he massacres them too in a supremely gory acid trip of a climax that (probably) earned the movie its 18 certificate in the UK. 

Not everyone loved this ending, but there's plenty to be said in its favour; it looks and sounds fabulous, and those gore effects are delightfully gnarly. It's a damn shame the rest of the movie wasn't nearly as fun as this.
