10 More Most Unintentionally Hilarious Movie Deaths

2. Armless Banter - Deadly Prey

It€™s tempting to read Deadly Prey (1986) as a parody of movies like Commando, Cobra and the Rambo flicks€ except that the late writer/director David Prior seems deadly serious, god help us. Starring his brother Ted (which is an excellent start), it features the greatest soldier in the world, Mike Danton, who is kidnapped by mercenaries intent on hunting the world€™s deadliest game. They realise all too late exactly who they have chosen to freak with. They are freaking with Mike Danton, the greatest soldier in the world (as the film keeps telling us). It€™s the gift that keeps on giving. The film is a treasure trove of terrible, wonderful dialogue€ and the above fight/death scene, wherein evil henchman Thornton has shot and killed Danton€™s wife, only for Danton to arrive, go utterly chicken oriental at the sight and, dodging bullets like a Tory spin doctor, go for the bad guy€™s throat. Or, more accurately, his arm: Danton hacks Thornton€™s arm off and beats him to death with it, scalping his lifeless corpse. He should have realised who it was that he was freaking with.
