While hardly revelatory as a piece of storytelling, its energetic, creative action sequences and fast pace made it an easy sit - especially during a period where cinemas the world over were shut down.

But did you know that Netflix released a sequel late last year?

Indeed, Lost Bullet 2 arrived on the streamer a little while ago, and though performing well in its first two weeks on Netflix, tumbled off a cliff soon thereafter.

Despite being received by critics and general audiences alike as a solid follow-up, it simply failed to carve out much presence in a cinematic marketplace that, by the end of last year, was admittedly getting closer to the "normal" of pre-2020 - where these smaller genre films struggled to have quite the same staying power.

All the same, if you're craving some snappy, no-nonsense action flicks, you could do much worse than this pair.
