10 Most Absurd Forgotten Moments In Star Wars History
2. Chewbacca And Yoda Go Way Back - Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith
With so many galaxy-changing events going down in the third and final Prequel entry, it's easy to forget that one of the most unexpected of alliances in Star Wars history was also brought to life in Revenge of the Sith.
Despite spending a decent amount of time alongside the mighty Master Yoda on his homeworld of Kashyyyk during Episode III, though, Chewbacca doesn't actually once mention the fact he stood alongside the Jedi during the Clone Wars at any point in the Original Trilogy.
Perhaps Yoda told the mountain of fur to keep their history as mates a secret in order to ensure his safety. But it's still rather peculiar to think that Chewie actually interacted with Luke Skywalker's eventual Master, and even helped him escape the clones, decades before the farmboy ever went to Dagobah and simply kept that information to himself forevermore.
Hell, even his best mate Han Solo was convinced the Jedi were little more than a hokey religion and didn't exactly believe in the Force. Which makes Chewie's deafening silence on the matter even more odd when looking back on that bout of lightsaber practise on the Millennium Falcon in Episode IV.
