First introduced in Catching Fire, Finnick quickly establishes himself as a likable badass. The youngest person to ever win the Hunger Games, Finnick is good looking, charming, strong, fast, deadly, and his weapon of choice is a freakin' trident. A trident! The only potential knock on his character in Catching Fire is it is a little one-dimensional, but that changes drastically in book 3. It's in Mockingjay that a few more layers are added to Finnick's character. We find out about his relationship with Annie, see his mental breakdown when she is held captive by the Capitol, and learn a few shocking secrets about his past. Finnick becomes a very powerful weapon for the rebels, and we can't wait to see him go to work exposing all of his dirty little secrets.
