For any of you who are reading this, you all know the story of Luke Skywalker; you all know the tale of the farm boy who became a great Jedi Knight. What we find out here, though, is that to many a modern generation, Luke is merely a myth, an urban legend, a magical being who is seemingly all a part of a fairytale. It certainly hits home when Han Solo reveals to Rey and Finn that, yes, Luke Skywalker was and is very much real, and that the stories that theyve heard are indeed true. The sparkle in the eyes of these newcomers is a wondrous to behold, with it essentially serving as the equivalent of us finding out that Santa Claus was real or, yknow, Jesus was too (is that too deep?). It makes you realise just how much of an impact Luke had all those years ago, and again this serves to bring a nostalgic tear to those who used to pretend they were on Tatooine drinking blue milk.
