It was one of the most awe-inspiring moments of the trailers, and it was a moment that certainly delivered during The Force Awakens. With Han, Chewie and Finn cornered by The First Order and on the cusp of defeat, its the Resistance to the rescue. And what a rescue it was! In terms of style, does it get any better than X-Wings skimming over water as they come to save the day and keep our heroes safe? Quite frankly, no. No, it doesnt. Like I said, the sight of X-Wings powering over water was a major highlight of the films trailers, and this was a heart-in-the-mouth, cooler-than-cool moment that had the hairs on the back of your neck standing to attention.
