10 Most Emotional Moments From Star Wars: The Force Awakens

3. The Death Of Han Solo

Could it be possible to compile this list without including this moment? No, that€™s the simple the answer. Just, no. For decades we€™ve heard so many stories about how Harrison Ford wanted to see Han Solo killed off back during the original trilogy, and now finally he got his wish. It was such a sad, sad moment, with Han finally getting the chance to talk to his long-gone son, Ben, aka Kylo Ren. Just when it seems that Han had got through to his offspring and was managing to get him to see that he doesn€™t have to lurk in the shadows of the Dark Side, and with both of them with tears in their eyes, Kylo Ren ignited his lightsaber and ran it through his father€™s torso. And just like that, one of the most iconic characters in cinema history was gone forever. Well, until the young Solo gets cast for the upcoming Anthology movie, but still€ the Harrison Ford Han Solo was no more. This in itself was one of the most shocking and saddening moments of the entire Star Wars saga, but it was equally as heartbreaking to see Chewbacca€™s reaction as he went on rampage against Ren and The First Order.
