10 Most Overlooked Moments of the Original Spider-Man Trilogy

7. Harry's Death (Spider-Man 3)

http://youtu.be/45XiabyVN_k I always forget that Harry dies. I couldn't tell you why, but whenever I watch any of the Spider-Man films and see James Franco, it never really clicks. Every time I see Spider-Man 3 (as I'm one of the "brave" souls to have watched it more than thrice) it always comes as a shock to me. Like a left field device that really doesn't leave you very stirred. But it's interesting, because the scene's actually fairly simple and sweetly satisfying at the same time. Fans of Maguire's crying face certainly get a kick out of it. And this really makes you wonder just what kind of direction Spider-Man 4 would have taken, now that Peter's lost his best friend. That character arc is over, and it feels like a chunk of the mythology would be somewhat abandoned. Bittersweet? I think so.
