10. Ace Chemicals Come Into View - Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice

Forcing fans to give the monster 152-minute theatrical version of the flick a freeze on more than a few occasions (as this list will prove), Zack Snyder didn't half love sneaking a few glorious sneaky visual Bat-references into his epic Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice outing.

And perhaps one of the subtlest nods to both the comic book source material and events that would soon come to pass in the big-screen corner of the DC world came during a brief shot of the Gotham City skyline as Superman gave his all to take down Doomsday.

During a shot of Kal El soaring towards his own doom, carrying a kryptonite-tipped spear, the background shows off a building with the words "ACE Chemicals" atop it. For those unaware, this is the same building that acts as the birthplace of The Joker in the comics, and the same place where both Jared Leto's Clown Prince of Crime and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn would tumble into a vat of chemical solution during 2016's Suicide Squad.

It's easily missed when fully engaged with Clark Kent's mission to see off BVS' big bad. But when paused for just a second as Supes grimaces mid-flight, ACE is very much there in the background.
