10 Most Pirated Films In 2015

2. Furious 7

Total Downloads: 44.7 million Furious 7, one of the most crowd-pleasing films of 2015 and the year's #3 box office champion (behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Jurassic World, but surprisingly beating out Avengers: Age of Ultron), is a natural film to find so high on this list. By now, people know exactly what they're getting with the Fast & Furious franchise; mindless fun, with endearing character dynamics and overly-ridiculous plots that you rather like for being as stupidly insane (or is that, 'inane'?) as they are. The tragedy surrounding the film considering star Paul Walker's untimely demise probably had a lot of minds curious as to how they handle the ending to this movie, considering they hadn't actually finished it when he passed. Strong word-of-mouth about the film's tactile emotional climax potentially had a number of movie fans downloading the film just to witness the heart-wrenching ending set to Wiz Khalifa's 'See You Again'; at least solace can be taken by the idea that some shoddier elements of the Walker CGI was erased by even shoddier torrents.
