Surviving an apocalypse is miserable stuff. I don't doubt that we will all work hard to ensure our survival, but working away, day after day, is going to get pretty wearying. Well need to be regularly lifting our spirits, else someone will inevitably succumb to the temptation to say a permanent goodbye. Thats right. At some point were going to have to have a party! And who better to organise a party than Gatsby? I'm confident that even in an apocalypse he will be able to source a champagne fountain, flamingos to casually mix and mingle and some delicious and nutritious canapés (probably rustled up by Remy). Plus, a party will be fantastic PR. Humans love an in-crowd, even in the direst of circumstances. Do you want to be in the awesomely cool group of survivors? Gatsby is most definitely your man.
