6. Lincoln Six-Echo - The Island
Michael Bay's nutty sci-fi thriller revolves around Lincoln Six-Echo (Ewan McGregor) and Jordan Two-Delta (Scarlett Johansson), two humans who learn that they're not living in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, but are in fact clones created at the behest of wealthy originals (aka "sponsors") who may require their organs.
Deep into the third act, Lincoln confronts his sponsor, Tom Lincoln (also McGregor, obviously), and a fight breaks out between them, after which Lincoln is able to sneak his ID bracelet onto Tom's wrist.
This convinces the gun-totting Albert Laurent (Djimon Hounsou) to shoot Tom dead, believing Lincoln to be the sponsor, per Lincoln's act of deception.
Laurent may have been the one who fired the fatal bullet, but without Lincoln's sleight of hand, it would've been impossible to choose a target.
Lincoln is then able to defeat the evil Dr. Merrick (Sean Bean), free the clones and live happily ever after with Jordan on a sail boat. What more could you want?
