8. Vincent Gallo Calls Roger Ebert A "Fat Pig" & Puts A Hex On His Colon

The Criticism: Roger Ebert stated that The Brown Bunny was the worst film in the history of the Cannes Film Festival. The Response: The movie's director, Vincent Giallo, ever the provocateur, responded that Ebert was a €œfat pig with the physique of a slave trader€, and then professed to have put a hex on the critic's colon. Ebert, ever the wordsmith, brilliantly retorted that, €œone day I will be thin, but Vincent Gallo will always be the director of The Brown Bunny€ before adding that, " had a colonoscopy once, and they let watch it on TV. It was more entertaining than The Brown Bunny." It was all resolved peacefully in the end, with Giallo claiming his words had been taken out of context, while Ebert re-reviewed Giallo's re-cut version of the movie and gave it a positive review.
