5. New Power Rangers Movie To Feature The Original Green/White Ranger
In an interview with Comicbook, the original actor for the Green/White Ranger, Jason David Frank, was asked whether he would have any involvement with the upcoming Power Rangers reboot. Rather than give an indefinite answer, he had this to say:
Are you involved in the Power Rangers reboot in any way?Jason David Frank: I probably will be involved. They talked to me about it. I dont know how much I am involved, but for sure cameos at least in the reboot movie.
So it looks like Jason David Frank's involvement is a sure thing, but whether he'll actually play one of the iconic rangers or not remains to be seen. The guy could certainly do it though - he may be 41 years old, but other than being an actor, David Frank is a dedicated MMA fighter too. If any of the original cast were likely to return, it would have been Jason. Not only is he well-known to be fiercely proud of his role in Power Rangers, he's also reprised the role of the White Ranger quite recently. Check it out below.
