Whether the tabloid reports were accurate or not (unlikely considering they completely blew his vacationing in Austria totally out of proportion), the idea of Tarantino considering a Dracula project is certainly something that I'd like to see. The vampire movie has become so worn down over the last five years, with Twilight and every pallid imitator in-between trying to jump on the bandwagon, that an injection of QT's distinct personalty might be just what the genre needs. QT has a little experience in the genre already, having played a significant role in Robert Rodriguez's From Dusk Till Dawn, and frankly that was a total hoot, so with some signature Tarantino dialogue, a Dracula film or even just a general vampire film could be a blast. Tarantino has said before that he doesn't like the emotional detachment that occurs when he adapts other material, so it'd likely be an original vampire tale if it ever happened.
