The poster for Lars von Triers Antichrist features our two main characters with their head superimposed onto a pair of scissors. This is, of course, a nod to the most memorable moment of the film, which will be dealt with in a moment. The film tells the story of a couple ("He" and "She" played by Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg) who, after the death of their child, retreat to a cabin in the woods where He experiences strange visions and She manifests increasingly violent sexual behavior and sadism. This violent behavior ultimately manifests when the women crushes her husbands testicles with a block of wood, masturbating him until he ejaculates blood and then cuts off her own clitoris with a pair of scissors. And yes, the film shows all of this in all of its explicit glory. In other words, this movie isn't for everybody.
