10 Movies That You Need To See More Than Once

By Dolan Reynolds /

6. Persona

Ingmar Bergmann is a director who makes films that almost beg to be watched again once their over so picking just one from his catalogue was difficult. Persona is my favorite movie of his but the real reason I put it on here is for the twist. I'm not going to spoil it because it is one of the greatest twists in cinema history and thankfully hasn't been prematurely spoiled for everyone like The Sixth Sense, Fight Club and The Usual Suspects. Another reason it deserves multiple viewings is the relationship between the two main characters, Alma and Elizabeth, who go through the story together. Throughout the narrative they grow closer to each other and with repeat viewing you can really explore their characters and the way they interact with each other that gives Persona a real edge. I don't want to reveal too much about the plot or the characters though because the best way to view this little seen masterpiece is with as fresh a viewpoint as possible.
