2. Birdman Returns - Birdman

Superheroes have been flying high in Hollywood over the last decade. They could do with being taken down a peg or two, and Birdman Returns is exactly the kind of parody to do it.

Not only would a fleshed-out cut of Riggan Thompson's (Michael Keaton) sequel inject some lightheartedness into the genre, the '90s nostalgia would be off the charts.

Who knows, if they start making these movies for real, the world might even get to see Birdman 4, the sequel Thompson famously pulled out of, only to reappear on Broadway years later.

Just don't let Joel Schumacher anywhere near the franchise. He'd only kill it, leaving it in a sorry state until a director with enough vision to pull off a gritty reboot came along.
