10 Netflix Original Movies That Are Better Than You Remember
10. Blame!
Based on the manga series of the same name, Blame! takes place in a future where humanities' own fascination for technology has become our downfall. A virus caused all the mechanised systems act freely, creating a huge city with a number of different levels within it to continuously expand in every direction.
And since the citizens lost the controls over the machines, there's nothing they can do to stop it. Did we mention that these machines have also been hunting the population to the edge of extinction?
Some reviews on Metacritic criticised Blame! for the generic design of the machines and the way they constantly attacked the main characters. But surely that's the whole point of the drone-like city itself, it has no rhyme or reason - just a function.
