6. Robert Downey Jr. Tony Stark/Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Who better to play a wealthy playboy party animal, than someone whos lived the life. Robert Downey Jr. has been to the bottom and back, and part of his remarkable return to the A-list of Hollywood actors has been his casting as Iron Man. My favourite of his performances is in David Finchers Zodiac, but he plays the role of Iron Man with such natural charisma and ease that it almost seems like he was born to play the role. I certainly believe that his acting in the Iron Man movies plays a huge part in making the series one of the best superhero franchises out there today. Lets hope it continues in Iron Man 3.
