5. Superheroes On The Battlefield

This one's incredibly simple: both Wonder Woman and Captain America feature sequences in which their titular heroes arrive during the heat of battle and use their supernatural abilities to turn the tide of the war for the Allies.

In Wonder Woman, it's the fantastic No Man's Land sequence and Veld assault which essentially shows Diana's first outing in official superhero duty, and in Captain America, it's a montage showing Cap leading the fight against the Nazis, practically styled as a propaganda video.

Both are glorious set-pieces no doubt, but Wonder Woman's is straight-up iconic, and thankfully avoids feeling like a straight pilfering even if the similarities are undeniable.
