3. It (Probably) Won't Lead To Deadpool In An X-Men Movie
Naturally, a lot of fans are desperate to see Deadpool end up in an X-Men movie if this film is a successful. However, there's an enormous hurdle in making that happen: Deadpool is R-rated, X-Men is PG-13, and so the only way to reconcile that is to completely gimp the Deadpool character, which is a terrible idea. Sure, they could introduce a gimmick like bleeping his profanity, which could be fun for a few laughs, but when you consider that he also loves to break the fourth wall, it would probably create too many logical problems for an X-Men movie. Plus, it's just too risky financially: why introduce this weird guy who could potentially put audiences off the successful X-Men formula? He could get a short cameo where he gets to swear once (like Wolverine in First Class), but a starring part seems incredibly unlikely in order to maintain the character's integrity.
