10. How Large Of A Role Will Tom Holland And Tom Hardy Have In The Spider-Verse?

Although Iron Man is only one of many main characters in the Infinity Saga, the MCU almost immediately established Tony Stark as the central character. The first point that must be addressed is who will be the focus of this world, or at the very least, of the first over-arching story?

The Spider-Verse is ripe with exciting potential but Sony must immediately establish the core character of the story. Will Tom Hardy be the central focus or will Tom Holland take over when he makes his debut? Will they share the honor and bring an interesting duality to the universe?

If neither of the Toms are the focus, then how large of a role will they have in the universe? More importantly, how will the future of their own franchises be altered to make room for another character?

If the plan is for Tom Holland or Tom Hardy to be the face of the universe, is that even a possibility either of them wish to entertain? The MCU signed actors and actresses to multi-movie contracts, some of which stretched over a decade.

Would either of these two actors accept this responsibility if it means being tied to one world for so long?
