Easily the most disturbing and unsettling film in Green's filmography is Womb, which sees Green's character Rebecca taking the DNA of her recently-deceased lover Tommy (Matt Smith) and impregnating herself with it, giving birth to his clone. As Tommy grows from a boy into a man, we see several uncomfortable scenes hinting at the sexual tension, such as when Rebecca takes a bath with a young Tommy and stares at his naked body, all leading to a point in which Tommy comes of age and Rebecca is now significantly older than him. After a confrontation between the two near the end of the film, the tension reaches an apex and their confused feelings explode into a making out session, which transforms into an incredibly uncomfortable possibly-but-not-quite-rape scene. It begins as kinky (if not a little disturbing), though by the end Green's distraught face sells it all: she's just had sex with a man she gave birth to, even if the two don't actually share any DNA. If that isn't the definition of "going bad", what is?
