10. The CGI Is Frequently Terrible
Perhaps the most vocal criticism even from those who love Black Panther is that, despite costing a hefty $200 million, the movie's visual effects are wildly inconsistent.
Though the CGI used to create Wakanda is generally pretty solid, it's less convincing during action sequences, especially the climactic battle between T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) and Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan), and when the digital war rhinos make their appearance.
In these moments the film veers close to being outright ugly, as the screen fills with blurry, video game-esque images that seem years out of date and, honestly, don't feel remotely Oscar-worthy.
Everyone wants a Best Picture winner to stand the test of time, and considering Black Panther's dodgy effects have been making people wince from day one, they'd be outright ridiculed even just a few years from now, let alone decades in the future.
