3. Terrifier 3

Though Terrifier 3 was largely well-received by fans, there was decidedly more mixed opinion on its finale. 

To some, it was a rushed mess, an overly frantic sprint to the finish line, where key elements - namely the off-screen "demise" of Sienna's (Lauren LaVera) brother Jonathan (Elliott Fullam) - didn't quite hit the desired mark.

Yet there are absolutely those who saw Terrifier 3's pacier conclusion as a direct response to criticism that Terrifier 2 became a bit of a slog in the third act, bloated out with over-indulgent sequences which made it a mild chore to finish.

For every fan who thought Terrifier 3 needed another 10-or-so minutes at the end, there's a fan who's simply relieved it wasn't a turgid mess of ending fatigue like its predecessor.

Hopefully director Damien Leone might finally strike a better balance in the impending Terrifier 4, and wrap it up at just the right time.
