10. Christian Is The Secret Villain - M3GAN 2.0

Because having M3GAN (Amie Donald) face off against a new, even more malicious android by the name of AMELIA (Ivanna Sakhno) wasn't enough, M3GAN 2.0 also tossed a totally bland human villain into the mix.

Near the end of the movie, we learn that Gemma's (Allison Williams) love interest and business partner Christian (Aristotle Athari) has been pulling the strings behind the scenes all along.

Christian is initially introduced as a cybersecurity expert, but later reveals to Gemma that he was responsible for the creation of AMELIA in an attempt to stoke anti-AI sentiment and then lobby the leaders of the G20 to legislate against it.

The big problem here is that Christian is such a boring nothingburger of a character that it's impossible to care about his late-film heel turn, and it certainly doesn't help that his villain scheme is so utterly uninteresting. Considering the movie is already wildly overlong at two hours, it just feels like added bloat the story really doesn't need.
