2. Aunt Gladys - Weapons

The Grabber isn't the only character on this list to have targeted and abused children. This was the entire premise of Zach Creggers' Weapons, as almost an entire classroom of children went missing at exactly the same time, running in exactly the same way.

This was the work of Aunt Gladys (Amy Madigan), an incredibly powerful sorceress of some kind, who brought Alex's (Cary Christopher) entire class under her spell and into her house in an attempt to essentially feed off their lives and extend her own. 

She also used her power to control other innocent people, forcing Marcus (Benedict Wong) to kill his partner in one of the most brutal ways imaginable, while also making Alex's parents repeatedly stab themselves in the face with forks to demonstrate her power to their young son. Her plan, however, was thwarted in the best way possible.

Alex managed to not only break Gladys' spell over the kids but also reversed it so that she became their target. They chased her through streets, through gardens, through the kitchens of strangers, and when they finally caught up with her, they ripped her apart. Literally ripped her apart. Gladys' head was torn in two at the jaw in a scene that should have been horrifying, but was instead oddly joyous to watch.
