7. Betty Ross Returns (Avengers: Infinity War)
The Rumour: As Infinity War started shooting at the beginning of the year, the Daily Record UK reported that Liv Tyler would be joining the movie to reprise her Betty Ross role from 2008's The Incredible Hulk.
Why It Shouldn't Happen: Betty has been a non-entity for almost a decade, so it seems odd to hurl her back into the mix now, especially as Hulk's doing just fine without her, and he's in a kinda-sorta-maybe relationship with Black Widow.
And, honestly, Liv Tyler just didn't give an interesting enough performance for most to care about her coming back. All it'll do is add more narrative stodge to a film that's already going to struggle to cram everything in.
How Likely Is It?: The source is incredibly dubious to begin with, it doesn't seem like a very logical direction and there have been no leaks from the production suggesting Tyler is even in Scotland for the shoot, so this looks like it's mercifully bulls***. 3/10
