10 Ridiculous Upcoming Movie Performances That Sound Like Jokes

10. David Beckham - King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword

Who's the last person you'd expect to play an ugly gang leader in a medieval action film? David Beckham? Precisely! Except, that's actually happening.

Beckham is reportedly playing a character called "Blackleg Leader" (with lines and everything) in the upcoming King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, presumably for no other reason than he's David Beckham and why not?

Rumour has it Beckham's character will to try and remove the infamous sword from the stone in Guy Ritchie's take on the King Arthur legend, complete with facial scars and a mouth full of teeth that even the most optimistic dentist would want to avoid.

Ritchie has a thing for Beckham cameo performances, of course; the footballer turned fashion icon popped up in the director's last film, too: Beckham played the role of a projectionist in The Man From U.N.C.L.E. in a tiny part that was just as forgettable as the film itself. Here's hoping his character this time around will have a bit more heft.
