9. The Not-Flying DeLorean - Back To The Future Part II

The Back to the Future movies are impeccable examples of well-aged Hollywood craft - if you don't desire a closer look at the finer details, that is.

In the second movie, when Doc (Christopher Lloyd) is following behind Biff's (Thomas F. Wilson) car with Marty (Michael J. Fox) riding a hoverboard on the side, there's a brief shot where director Robert Zemeckis focuses on both the DeLorean and the hoverboard hovering in tandem.

However, on the left-hand side of the frame you might notice the presence of a smaller, concealed wheel beneath the front-right wheel. This is of course the wheel actually being used to drive the DeLorean and give the impression that it's hovering off the ground.

It's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, but one that obliterates the otherwise glorious magic of Emmett Brown's iconic flying car.
