5. Batman Meets The Green Lanterns - Justice League
With Warner Bros. announcing the development of a Green Lantern Corps movie way back in October 2014, fans were naturally expecting at least one Lantern to make an appearance in Justice League.
Yet aside from a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo by a non-descript Green Lantern in one of Justice League's flashback scenes, no members of the Green Lantern Corps were seen in the movie.
However, in Zack Snyder's original version of Justice League, he did film a post-credits scene in which Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) is awoken in the middle of the night by a bright green light, after which he has a brief interaction with Green Lanterns Tomar Re and Kilowog.
The crowd-pleasing potential of this scene speaks for itself, yet in an attempt to streamline the film's focus, it was ditched relatively early during post-production, likely meaning its extensive visual effects were never completed.
