10 Shocking Movie & TV Posters That Went Too Far

4. Paisean Faisean

Irish language dating show Paisean Faisean ("Passion Fashion" in English) began airing on TG4 in 2005, and while the concept should been rather harmless, its promotional material was not.

The second series relied heavily on an advertising campaign which featured a female teacher dressed in unnecessarily revealing clothes - with the caption 'Girls Dressed By Boys' spread across the bottom of it. Now, it's pretty clear to see why this one was considered offensive.

Not only did it rightly receive complaints for degrading women by portraying them as little more sexual objects (and encouraging the belief that boys should see them as such), the poster's school environment made any attempted 'sexiness' wildly inappropriate.

Thankfully, the complaints were upheld and this (and a similarly degrading radio advertisement) was pulled altogether.
