5. The Helicopters - Skyfall

After Die Another Day proved just how badly CGI could vibe with the hit spy franchise, fans have been pretty thankful for the Daniel Craig-era Bond films mostly focusing on practical stunts with digital embellishments.

That's also mostly the case in Skyfall, arguably one of 007's best-ever outings, which thanks to the Oscar-nominated work of legendary cinematographer Roger Deakins, is unquestionably the most visually impressive Bond film to date.

Though there are a few CGI moments that draw a little too much attention to themselves - Silva's (Javier Bardem) grotesque face implant, for one - there's only one that's aggressive in its garishness.

After Bond (Craig) visits Silva's island base, the cavalry eventually comes a-calling, with a fleet of helicopters arriving to take Silva back to London.

But the choppers just look hilariously plastic and fake, like an old 3D asset an intern ass-pulled at the last minute on a Friday afternoon when they desperately wanted to go to the pub.

Thankfully it's only on screen for a few seconds, but it's embarrassingly low-fi for a movie that cost around $200 million.
