Like the next entry, this is one of those impressive examples where a supporting character has the most praise showered on them, in spite of the fact that the film is titled after the lead. Aaron Johnson (as he was back then, before getting married) is great as the titular hero without any powers, but its Moretzs eleven-year-old Hit-Girl that steals the show. Shes got a thirst for blood, a mouth as foul as any Tarantino character, some great one-liners, and an awesome outfit, all of which flaunt more style and skill than her titular counterpart.
