10 Terrible Horror Movies That Reward You For Staying Until The End

3. Blood Rage

In Blood Rage's defence, it has a captivating premise. After a psychotic child called Todd Simmons commits murder, he frames his twin brother, Terry, causing him to be institutionalised for a decade.

As Todd begins to kill again, he learns his sibling has escaped from the psychiatric institution. Before he's recaptured by the police, Terry must prove his own innocence and put an end to Todd's killing spree once and for all.

Due to the bereft direction and anaemic script, the uncreative slasher drags, despite the 82-minute runtime. But if anything comes close to salvaging this mess, it's the epilogue. Recognising Todd has been the murderer all along, his mother, Maddy shoots him before embracing Terry.

Or so she believes. When her surviving son reveals he's Todd, Maddy realises she shot Terry by mistake. Unable to forgive herself, Maddy takes her own life, allowing Todd to get away scot-free.

The fake-out isn't just clever, but surprisingly tragic. Considering everything Terry had suffered over the previous 10 years, it was a shame to see him getting screwed over yet again.
