10 Terrifying Horror Films That Will Haunt Your 2018
10. Danny McBride's Halloween
Danny McBride has probably spent most of his previous Halloweens in a smokey haze, but next year he's marking the occasion by bringing the original masked menace Michael Myers back to the big screen.
The Alien: Covenant star co-wrote the latest attempt at a Halloween reboot with series mastermind John Carpenter, which means there's a good chance it will end up in better shape than Rob Zombie's uninspired retread.
Little is known about what's in store for Haddonfield this time, but McBride has hinted that the franchise is heading back to its stealthy roots by depicting Michael as an insidious menace that lurks in the shadows, rather than an immortal killing machine.
Carpenter is also executive producing and may even provide the score, which is great news, while Pineapple Express helmer David Gordon Green is directing. Um, okay.
