10 Things Batman Vs Superman Won't Do Better Than The Dark Knight Trilogy

6. Power Struggles

Another concept that makes the Batman mythos so intriguing - Batman's power struggles are almost unique in the world of comic books. The Dark Knight is famous for being a superhero that has no superpowers (unless you can somehow count wealth as a superpower). It's another aspect that Nolan used so well in his trilogy, ensuring that no matter how well-trained, equipped or prepared the cowl-clad hero was, he always had a foe that could still stand toe-to-toe with him. There's no galaxy-spanning narrative, planet-destroying villains or continent-destroying battles in Batman's world - there are just 'normal' people. Superman is an almost indestructible force that can melt rock, punch through anything and pick up an object a thousand times his weight. There's only one way that Snyder will be able to make fisticuffs between Batman and Superman be as enticing as Nolan's films, and that's by robbing Superman of his powers. It's happened before in the Man Of Steel's history, and if Batman can find some way to bring Superman down to his level in Snyder's film, then we could have some truly epic fight scenes on our hands.
